I Didn't Know You Liked Us That Much

It is true BrickApe is great but there is no need to go that far... But seriously, this is a excellent display of Lego building skill.
In The Temple of the Monkey God

Another great MOC by 2 Much Caffeine, this guy has got, pardon my colloquialism, mad Lego skillz. Yes, that is a 'z'. That is in fact how good he is, 'skillz' good. Check all his mind-blowing Lego Moc creations on his fickr page. "All hail the Monkey God Rod." Check out the sweet details: feet, hands, and belly button!

Pirates of The Caribbean: Amazing MOC

By now you may have seen this stunning Pirates of The Caribian themed MOC. I love the way the water is done here.Tia Dalma's Shack
Check out some more pics of this beauty.

Three Musketeers

Seth Cristie has got a knack for setting up a scene. The longer you look at this Lego MOC the more you notice.
Three Musketeers
What an eye for detail. All the little nuances of this scene really bring it to life. Did you notice the red runner going down the stairs? Check out the rest of his Lego shots here.

Well, hello again buddy!!

This the so-called "vintage" power droid is by Arkaitse.

Well, hello again buddy!!

Although he built it and photographed it himself, he gives due credit to the inspiration of the piece, a robot posted by bluemoose. Well to both of you (and especially the illusive Tim), good Job.

Revenge Is a Dish Best Served... Well, Just Plain Weird

Revenge by powerpig is on of the funniest Lego MOC builds I have ever seen.

If you like this, and there is no doubt you do, then check out all his other great Lego MOC builds here.

How Do They Make Lego Blocks?

I have heard it said that there is a little something special in every Lego block. But this—this is something different all together.
Special Ingredient
This Lego MOC is by Cole Bl♠q, just one of the many creative and cleaver MOC builds you will find by him. Check out more of his stuff here.

Grand Lego MOC

Normally when you see an awesome MOC like this you think to your self, "Self, I wish I could have that." So, you might try and recreate it or make your own version. This process, however, is not always able to recreate all the little nuances that make it great. For instance, did you know the lid over the keys closes on this MOC? It is true. And, there is more.
fly me to the moon
Although Ruby L. took the picture shown here, P@u! +ox actually built it. You can even get your own set from his Bricklink store!

Star Wars - The Force Unleashed

Here is a great composition by Ptéra of flickr. I especialy am fond of the reflection.

Remote controled Truck By Robiwan_Kenobi

Robiwan_Kenobi has made a remote controlled Lego MOC Truck. Not only is it a wonderful design, but it includes all the LEGO Power Functions IR Receiver 8884 and LEGO Technic Power Function Accessory box (8293) components in a space of only four studs wide.

Check out the video Robiwan_Kenobi posted, and also check out the rest of his Microscale Lego MOC Trucks, even though they are not remote controlled, they are all awesome!

Snow Speeder Action Shot

Once again Avanaut's photo holds my attention. I have just been staring and staring at this one. Avanaut calls this one High Speed Snowspeeder Flyby.
High Speed Snowspeeder Flyby
It makes me wonder what the boxes would look like if he was in charge of the photography and design. It would seem that the two sets he used are LEGO Star Wars Echo Base (7749) and LEGO Star Wars Hoth Wampa Set (8089), both excellent sets. If you want to see more of Avanaut's Photostream view it here.

Ds-109 Light Interceptor by Haypro

Here is a wonderfully designed star fighter. Not only is the shape and flow of the model well crafted, the accent color is is truly impressive. Adding color, the right amount, the right combinations, can be one of the more difficult parts of a build. Haypro got it right with this one.
Ds-109 Light Interceptor
Check out more of Haypro's (Simon's) stuff here. He is an excellent builder (Did I mention he is only 16), I am sure we will see more of his MOCs here on BrickApe.

Hereford Abbey Village

Hereford Abbey Village
Wow! Look at busboy489's latest creation. It is a very fine MOC diorama. Look at these pics...

I Want That on My House

I love it.

Shotgun House

New Orleans Shotgun House
This MOC is not as detailed and refined as, say, the Green Grocer, and that is why it is great. Daveexmachinaha made a wonderful piece of reality─or the Lego version of it.

Creepy School

Winter Break 01
Chances are if you have been any where that posts MOC pics, you have seen this before. That fact in itself does not make this MOC any less amazing.

The Fortress Of Awesome

Viktor's Office
An amazing build by -Pendragon-, this grunge, industrial ... what ever you want to call it ... MOC is incredible. There are so many little details that add to the over all look of it. There are more pics after the jump.

Early Morning Scout Patrol

Early Morning Scout Patrol
Early Morning Scout Patrol by Avanaut (Vesa Lehtimäki) is another great example of excellent photography. There is so muchto look at in this seamingly simple shot.

One Dangerous Butterfly

Luna Lyon
At first glance, it might just like a really boss space ship. But, then you realize it has depth, Look at where the wings meet the body.

LEGO Super Hero Minifigures

It is Comic-Con time. And what better time then this for Lego to show off its new Super Hero minifigures. We've already seen Bat Man and Robin and Cat Woman and The Incredible Hulk... WHAT?!?

Count Down to Lego Series 5 Minifigures: Sherlock Holmes

Holmes must be on the pine again: Just look at the size of that magnifying glass. Rockin' the sideburns and sporting a sweet hat, Holmes is ready for an adventure. Do you think we will ever see a Watson?

Epic Lego Battle

Let's Talk Greebling

Lighting by Tommy
What is Greebling? I'm glad you asked. Put simply, it is detail. But more specifically, it is the use of textures and shapes on a surface for no other reason that to break up the surface area and give a sense of complexity. Let's look at some examples and see if we can use the concepts in our own models.

Tonight’s Special: Sword Fish II

Check out this awesome cowboy Bebop model made by Crimson Wolf of flickr. The technique is amazing.
